Community Liason Group
Bellway Homes runs a Community Liaison Group made up of local people and representatives from local businesses and groups. It meets quarterly. The group acts as a forum enabling Bellway to let them know what is happening on the site and enables them to give feedback from the community to Bellway. LOCAL JOBS FOR LOCAL PEOPLE
Bellway Homes is committed to using local labour while building the project. We like working with local companies and local people. We also believe in using education to enthuse youngsters with jobs involving construction and local employment opportunities. We run apprenticeships in building trades. We will be working with the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation to work out how to provide the best job opportunities for local people.
Contributions to a new Community Fund
The public benefits from our scheme will cost Bellway Homes £7.5 million. It is important local people tell us how to make the new facilities best meet their needs. A contribution will be made to uplift the Hive estate and road improvements will be made in the High Street and Hive Lane.
