Phase 2a covers the Fastrack bus route through the development.  This will be the widest and most prominent of the streets running through Harbour Village.  Trees will be positioned along the road in pairs so they match a tree on the other side of the road.  This will be augmented by grass and shrub planting. ​

The Fastrack service will link Harbour Village with Ebbsfleet International station, Dartford, Darent Valley hospital and Gravesend. It will run from the roundabout by Ebbsfleet United Football Club along Grove Road to Harbour Village. It will then continue to Northfleet Embankment East and into Gravesend centre.    

The more detailed “reserved matters” planning application is expected to submitted on Phase 2a in the near future. The building work should be completed by 2025-26.​
